Introducing Relationships Education This is an ideal module of work to introduce the importance of positive relationships at home and in school. The 5-6 week module identifies clear lesson by lesson planning and resources that focuses on relationships at home, in school and with friends and encourages students to reflect upon their own experiences.

A module of work for upper KS3 or KS4 students, written to introduce students to the dangers of alcohol. This SOW would fit as part of any whole school PSHE or Life Skills Programme for mainstream or Alternative Provision.

An mini module that can be used to introduce drug education with upper Primary or lower secondary and SEN students.

This question bank fits nicely with supporting the writing of a Career Personal Statement (See booklet as part of my resources). It allows for reflection and wider career management by asking key questions about a students aspirations and future.

Quizzes 11 and 12 to add to your Collection. Quiz 11 is the second Grime Slang Quiz, whilst the gangs and Guns Quiz has been added as a bonus. All of the Quizzes are written for a student who does not engage with mainstream school and has daily tutoring, however he writes grime music and has an interest in the history of guns and warfare. Both can be included in PSHE sessions that are focused on crime or Grime.

A Learning Diary that enables any student or teacher the ability to monitor and track evidence of student work; this Learning Diary proved to be a very useful document in my School, to help record the successes of a student who could not engage fully in a mainstream curriculum. However, the student was an excellent citizen around the school, who developed his abilities through engagement of non-academic work which we needed to record. The Diary/Log can also be used in formal lesson for students to record evidence of their work - the format of the template allows for this flexibility.

A useful tool/template that can be completed by students in year 9 - 11, to help them track future career plans and identify the steps they need to take in order for them to achieve their goal. Help students answer three key questions: Where are they now? Where do they want to be in 5 years time? What do they need to do to get there?

An 8 week module for KS3/KS4 or for students in Alternative Provision. There is a focus on how students develop their own self respect, alongside how respect should be shown for others. This 5-6 week module of work for Year 7 or Year 8 explores students perceptions on the World of Work. It would fit well into any scheme of work that relates to the Gatsby Benchmark 1… ‘that every school and college should have a stable, structured careers programme’. The module explores student thoughts on… What students consider to be ‘work’ Thoughts on ‘what makes the ideal jobs’ Exploring the different job sectors What are skills and qualities? What skills and qualities are required of different jobs There is also a careers self-assessment sheet attached to this module which can be used to evaluate what students have learned from the work covered.

Does your Head of PSHE require a BV statement for their departmental handbook or are you reviewing and developing your curriculum. If so, then this BV statement will provide an excellent starting point for your staff and provide all the relevant information that is required for this vital part of the school curriculum.

With the new RSHE guidance being implemented from this month, I believe that this resource provides an ideal starting point when focusing on positive loving relationships, the family and an introduction to Sex Education for Key Stage 4. The KS3 resource initially focuses on the importance of friends and family and a wider look at relationships, whilst the KS4 resource also focuses on relationships, but with a closer look at boy/girl relationships, sexual responsibilty and love. The resource contains all learning materials that allow for it to be implemented into any programme immediately.
